Studying in an online community empowered by blockchain

A recent controversy regarding energy grids – and who controls them – could affect the future of education in developing nations. Studying is no longer restricted in classrooms and now have been brought to wider users thanks to internet connectivity.
But where’s the real benefit?
Currently, there are over two billion internet users across the globe. In the next decade, it is estimated that the number will jump to a total of five billion people who are smartphone users with free and full access to the internet. In every second of the day.
What does it mean? Software is eating the world and it brings up two possibilities.
The good and the bad.

Two sides of the future

Leading music and video service companies like Netflix and Spotify remain as the pioneers that produce the most revenue because of, to put it simply, software.
Financial services, oil and gas companies, and other business ventures are on the race.  This includes the implementation of the new technology in health care and education sectors as well.
This technology is built to use predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). It’s designed to be sustainable by applying this on smartphones and wearable compact gadgets such as smartwatches. It can intuitively study thinking patterns thanks to the application of machine learning and blockchain technology which makes it convenient in mobile education apps.
Software is being empowered by supercomputing and data analytics to name a few. But still, it can’t be sure if it is going to stay as it is for the next ten (10) years.
The downside is having less privacy. Every online activity can be monitored but that is what makes the entire system valuable because the tech platform can learn on its own. However, there is a number of the integrated system particularly in the blockchain that can guarantee security and let its users know how much data it collects.
Not having adequate skillset can affect career aptitude. It has been stated that the unemployment rate of US drops to four percent (4%) in 2019, the lowest rate that has been documented since 1969.
Despite the strong pursuit to improve the jobless rate by the government, it still sits on the long steep decline. The only solution to the problem is to improve education.

How can blockchain help

Picking a field to study can be a bit tricky in the crowded modern world. Taking up online courses is one of the best ways to learn from scratch because of its flexibility and less cost required for the materials.
With blockchain, gaining new skills is not only more accessible. Users can also receive incentives such as gift cards or cinema tickets as well as the supportive online community for guidance.
