STEM students get $2000 PixelPlex support

STEM students are offered the two thousand ($2000) PixelPlex Bi-Annual Scholarship. The scholarship aims to support and encourage students to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects.
The PixelPlex scholarship will also favor students taking economics and business subjects.

The application process for STEM students

For the scholarship, STEM students will research and develop an essay (500 words minimum) on either of the two topics:

  • Blockchain: The essay should relate how blockchain technology will impact positively the world economy and individual lives.
  • Artificial Intelligence: The essay should describe the future of artificial intelligence, and the impact it will have on humans.

All essays should be sent on or before the 20th of December 2019, to the email address: [email protected]
The subject of the email should be in this format; “PixelPlex Scholarship Award: Students’ Name.” The body of the email will contain a short description of yourself and why you have chosen the specific essay topic.
Other pieces of information that must be included in the body of the essay include the date of birth and choice University. Field of study, expected a year of graduation, school ID, and contact details must be outlined as well.
STEM students should be careful not to plagiarize in their essays as it could be a disqualifying criterion.
The STEM student who scales through and wins the essay competition will receive a cheque of $2000. The winner gets announced on the 20th of January 2020 at https://pixelplex.io/scholarship.

Qualifying Factors

STEM students who wish to enter into the competition must be native to the United States or be a permanent resident in the US. Students must also ensure they have gained admission into a university at the time scholarship is awarded.
Pixelplex brings blockchain technology to businesses around the world, building software and mobile apps for a variety of applications. Since 2007, they’ve been helping companies of all sizes by delivering software and blockchain development services and solutions. Tech companies would be the best inspiration for STEM students and a small amount of assistance could go a long way to easing the financial burdens of education.
