School enrichment business balances time with work and family

school enrichment

Investing in a school enrichment program is beneficial for both my children and the community.

Why invest in a school enrichment business?

Niña Sue Da Silva, the first Filipina chief marine engineer, a mom, a wife, and a businesswoman, these are just some of the accolades of this amazing woman from Cebu, Philippines.
The interest began when she was looking for an alternate school enrichment program wherein she could enroll her kids in. Da Silva seems to dislike how the former after school program she enrolled her kids in because it bores them with the repetitive activity worksheets.
Fame, a co-alumna at Maritime Academy, and also a franchisee of Seriously Addictive Mathematics (SAM) Singapore Math and Unique English Classroom (UEC) Learning Center, introduce to her the school enrichment program.
Da Silva saw the opportunity of giving her children a quality after school program and as well as an excellent business to operate in her community.

The lack of reliable after school program in our community made me consider acquiring a franchise of the SAM and UEC Learning Center.

Benefits of having a school enrichment business

First and foremost, the main beneficiary of Da Silva’s business is her children. They were the first students of the program and eventually became a walking advertisement for the program. Whenever they have classmates that struggle in class, they casually invite them to the program.

Not only do the children learn early marketing skills, but children in their community also benefit from the program as well.

A balance between work, family, and business

Da Silva works as a branch manager in one of the country’s leading seafarer manning agencies. As an entrepreneur mom, she always makes sure that she balances her time with work, business, and family.
With the school enrichment program, it became easier for her to manage business and kids better. After work, she will fetch the kids at the center and do some auditing and checking of the business before they all went home to enjoy each other’s company.

When you love what you are doing, you will always find the time and when you are passionate about your cause, you will achieve a sense of fulfillment.
