IB’s approach reduces students’ financial burden

IB’s approach reduces students’ financial burden

The International Baccalaureate (IB) has crafted a strategy of eliminating students’ registration fee in its examination.
This approach was necessitated after the IB realized that the one hundred and seventy-two dollars ($172) fee hindered some students from taking the examination. Moreover, it was strenuous to others.

IB’s decision pivotal for knowledge acquisition

The decision by the IB will be instrumental in enabling considerable global students to undertake more subject examinations. Furthermore, they will be availed with the opportunity to pursue an IB Diploma Programme fully.
Schools will also be beneficiaries of this remedy as they will have the chance to join the global IB community comprising of at least five thousand (5,000) schools.
According to the IB’s Director-General, Dr. Siva Kumari, the institution’s mission is to offer incredible opportunities to the open-minded, multilingual, and well-rounded worldwide student community.
He also asserted that the elimination of the registration fee was meant to offer international students the chance to expand their knowledge base so that they can counter local, national, and global problems thoughtfully.
Kumari noted that worldwide changes are inevitable. For instance, the technological industrial revolution being witnessed has instigated advancements, such as AI (Artificial Intelligence).
As a result, the IB has been prompted to boost the future workforce into being critical thinkers and agile learners.

IB’s registration fee elimination is commendable

The IB’s approach of eradicating the registration fee is exceptional as students’ financial burdens will be eased. Moreover, access will be opened up, making success inevitable.
The IB has also given discounts to those schools providing at least three (3) IB programmes. Furthermore, ongoing investments are being made in the professional growth of IB educators.
According to the IB’s Director of Outreach and Conferences, Haif Bannayan, the organization has an objective of generating broader and deeper thinkers necessitated in the fourth (4th) industrial revolution.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers high-quality programs of international education to a worldwide community of schools. The three programs for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a non-profit educational
organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. The IBO is an international organization, not associated with any particular country and free of any national, political or educational agendas.
The IB’s decision is welcome because students usually struggle financially. For instance, science students from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) recently aired their frustrations after they did not receive their stipends.
Conversely, students across the globe have been attaining opportunities, such as the IB one. For instance, UK students are to benefit from ten thousand pounds (£10,000) hackathon award. Moreover, young Australian learners are set to visit NASA
