The education grants will also see the incorporation of the tribal gaming ideas to Nevada’s gaming concepts initiating tribal lenses to America’s sole degree in gaming.
According to Lynn Val Buena, in the history of the mission, gaming through government plans is the most effective tool in meeting developmental and economic targets.
However, the full capacity for tribal gaming could be far from being realized if more emphasis is not laid on increasing the potential of native people in the management of economic development. Therefore the tribe is taking on the investment while partnering with Nevada University in preparation for the native children to help in paving way for future sustenance.
The bulk of the education grants will be invested in Nevada’s faculty of hospitality with a vision to enhance the course through the introduction of tribal gaming to the already existent courses in gaming. The complete induction of the tribal gaming course will be expected to be completed by 2023.

Tribal gaming course accessible to all students

The faculty of hospitality dean, Stowe, alludes that in tandem with the growth of tribal gaming concepts, the institution is obliged to equip learners with the premises of the tribal method of gaming. He asserts that the education grants by the Indian mission will help make the tribal gaming course accessible to all students.
Some of the funds will go into supporting visiting professors as well as the course administrators at the institution’s school of law and into governance and economy research. Other fraction of the education grants will be used to sponsor scholarships for gaming students to get tribal residency and preference going to the native students.
The Law faculty head, Daniel Hamilton remarked that the San  Band are the leaders in tribal gaming and have extended their philanthropic hands to research and the department looks forward to accelerating gaming and its adoption in governance and policymaking.
