In the statement from the headmaster of Woolaston Primary School, he assured the public especially the parents of Woolaston students that the school premises were already thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after learning about the incident.
Authorities have already started the contact tracing for all the participants of the holiday club gathering that the student tested positive had an interaction with. The respondents were informed about their possible contamination, advised to stay at home for quarantine, and not allowed to attend school for the time being.

Opening of schools today

With the opening of schools in Lydney is scheduled for today, the school headmaster assured the parents that the school administration, staff, and teachers are making sure that proper sanitation and social distancing measures will be strictly implemented within school premises.
The school administrator also urged the public to be responsible for what they post on social media regarding the incident, saying it doesn’t help in clearing out the situation.

We understand the anxiety and concern over the student tested positive of COVID-19 in Woolaston. But, we assure you that the health and safety of our students are our primary concern, and all sanitary measures have been implemented since the gathering occured.
