The United Kingdom’s Shadow education secretary Angela Rayner has announced that under the labor party, every individual would be provided with 6 years of free education. This is one of the major parts of the labor party’s ‘cradle-to-grave’ national education service.
The proposed move was announced on Tuesday in Blackpool. According to Rayner,
Learners have been devoid of education for far too long now.
Angela Rayner believes that free education should be made a right for the people and the labor government plans exactly to do that. Under the proposal, any adult who doesn’t possess any A-level degree can avail of the benefits of studying free at college for the next six years.
This will include individuals who plan to go for their graduation, certificate courses or diploma. The whole implementation will cost the government more than US$ 3.85 billion but this will develop a workforce with better skills and qualifications. This will have a direct impact on the economy of the country.

Angela Rayner also plans to provide these people with paid time off during the time they wish to pursue their degrees or upskilling. This is to be made certain that no individual gets excluded from education.
According to the labor party, the adults who are currently learning are at an all-time low since 1996.
Education, as it is entering the new phase across the world, has become one of the major battlegrounds for elections. This is in the US as well. Labor also plans to further use more than US$ 18 billion to improve the quality of schools in terms of quality of education and infrastructure.
As far as the funding is concerned, the detailed explanation of it would come with the party’s election manifesto but it is believed that earners to the top of the table would be taxed more to fund the national education service propaganda.
