These goals are no poverty, no hunger, better health, improved quality of education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, clean and cheap energy, economic growth and employment, industrial innovation and better infrastructure, no inequality, sustainable cities, responsible consumption of the produce, climate action, better life for everyone under or above water, peace and justice, and partnerships among countries and communities to achieve these goals.

Sustainable Development Goals is a UN initiative for a better global future

The idea of such a conference will be to gather 170 people, in 17 different rooms, from various universities internationally, which can be students, staff or faculties, and get them into a group discussion. In the discussion, the moderator will pose simple and actual life problems faced by people across the world and the discussions would be how to make the most out of the situation.
Although it is not easy to attain sustainable goals merely by a discussion of a few hours. The UN will lookout for ideas that can be implemented on an urgent basis to lead to a better future by 2030.
Universities will play an important role in determining the future of the world, and every university globally has students from various parts of the world. Such an atmosphere helps talented people getting together and discussing proper and feasible solutions to make the world a better place.
