Notion app would be available for download to students and teachers that sign up with a school email address domain. Notwithstanding the number of registrations, the Notion premium version will be available to all.
Notion, with the likes of Bear, Evernote, and Microsoft OneNote, provides a collaborative platform for note-taking and sharing as well. There are twenty-five (25) templates explaining the diverse applications of Notion to both students and teachers.

The note-taking application is used by Harvard professors to manage their classes and laboratory functions. Students have also found organization management abilities with Notion. Among other personal uses of Notion, students can arrange their to-do – list, share notes collaboratively, develop grade calculators, organizing budgets, and job applications. Teachers also benefit from the different functions of Notion software. With the note-taking application, teachers can develop their class lessons using the preformed templates available on Notion. Existing users now have the privilege to access the premium features of Notion, by merely changing their login to a.edu or any other academic domain address. The fee to access premium features is $4, but for the free access given, users will be able to access the functions until a storage threshold is reached.
Notion Growth Strategy
Notion grew faster and more profitable than other start-ups in San Francisco by emphasizing on subscription benefits and revenues. The note-taking app founded three (3) years ago, has already attained one million users and an eight-hundred million Dollar valuation ($800 million) within three years.
This recent free premium access would further increase the number of Notion users, a growth strategy of the company rapidly.
