Cryptocurrency gigs get top Upwork fees

Upwork, reputed to be the world’s biggest freelancing platform, revealed that nearly seventy-three percent (73%) of its service providers have confirmed to earn more as freelancers as compared to the time they were fully employed, and most of them are skilled in cryptocurrency.
Adam Ozimek, Upwork’s chief economist, confirmed that the demand for freelancers with tech-savvy skills such as cryptocurrency (crypto) has been on the rise.
Technological innovations, such as cryptocurrency, are considerably transforming the present age, and this has prompted the demand for persons with this expertise. 
As a result, freelancers with knowledge or background in cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, are highly sorted in Upwork.

Considerable attention on cryptocurrency and blockchain

In the Fintech sector, significant emphasis has been placed on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. This trend has prompted executives of startups and tech companies to search for persons with expertise or slight comprehension in these areas.
Blockchain technology is founded on the storage of data through a decentralized network. Notably, it is the basis for many cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. 
As a result, jobs that are crypto-related have been on the rise, and people with specific orientation in this area are advantaged because cryptocurrency is continuously gaining relevance. 

Upwork’s cryptocurrency reputation

Upwork has emerged to be one of the most tapped freelance platforms by both clients and freelancers
Based on the data provided by Upwork, Bitcoin tops the list of twenty (20) of the highest paying tech skills for freelancers or independent workers at two hundred and fifteen dollars ($215). 
Ozimek proclaims that this data is instrumental in showing that Upwork professionals are undertaking work necessitating incredibly high skills, such as on cryptocurrency. 
He also noted that highly-paid skills are not limited to fields, such as finance, marketing, and law, because high tech ones, for instance, cryptocurrency have emerged.
