Uganda’s President, Yoweri Museveni, participated in a public rally at the schoolyard of the Karaka Primary School in the Kibuku district at the eastern part of the country. During the rally, the President heavily emphasized that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) is investing a lot of their effort in learning and focusing on bettering education throughout the country.
The NRM government is committed to helping Ugandans, especially those in the rural areas, to improve their living conditions through sensitization, education and empowerment. It explains why I am traversing the country at the moment, to explain how to create wealth. pic.twitter.com/GMg2X156TM

According to Mr. Museveni, the NRM has been a party focused more on helping people, and improving educational opportunities in the country, rather than one seeking out votes and spreading misconceptions.
The President and the comunity
During his speech, President Museveni took a moment to thank and congratulate the people of the Kibuku district for being loyal supporters of the NRM.
However, he also pointed out that while the party is doing its best to provide educational opportunities and to boost development in the area, economic growth is entirely in the hands of the community. For Mr. Museveni, society has to change its ways fundamentally and look for modernization of all aspects of daily life, including their approach to education.
The most significant advice the President had for the people gathered at Karaka Primary School was that the wealth of a family comes from the group efforts of all its members. While the government has to ensure everyone in the community has the means necessary to succeed, like developed infrastructure, and excellent educational system, it is up to the efforts of every individual whether their family feels economically secure.
President Museveni also spoke about responsible agricultural operations in the region, which is one of the biggest producers of rice in the country.
As a conclusion of his speech at the school, President Museveni thanked all his supporters and congratulated them on being socially conscious members of the community.
