66 percent tech company CEOs are engineers

According to recent statistics, close to seventy percent (66%) of all technology company CEOs (Chief Executive Officers) have transitioned from being capable young engineers to the top role.
Silicon Valley, the technological center of the universe, has unconsciously come up with a very successful leadership model for tech-focused companies. Young, enthusiastic, and capable engineers become large-scale tech company CEOs as they have all the necessary expertise.
One of the most common sequences of events in the tech business involves the evolution of an engineer into the leader of a tech company. This should not be surprising, considering the fact that engineers have all the theoretical and practical knowledge to create a popular product.

Tech company CEOs and big business

In the past few decades, technology has become an integral part of our everyday lives, and this has led to a significant surge in the number of technology companies making it to big business circles.
Technological development has introduced a revolution in a number of fields, like medicine and education. And behind all technological developments, there is a successfully run tech company looking to bring a new, revolutionary product to the market.
While many experts would say that a company CEO has to be more than just an expert in the field of production, tech CEOs have proven that this is the most essential quality of a successful company leader.
A firm grasp and understanding of the technological side of a product is always the center of the activities of such companies. There are indeed so many aspects of running a successful business; however, a good understanding of the core idea behind the activities of the company is a top priority.
Considering all these priorities, it is no surprise that STEM graduates are turning out to be some of the most prosperous CEOs of technology companies.
